Rain Man

The "Rain Man" of Charlie's (Tom Cruise's) childhood memories was his autistic older brother Raymond (Dustin Hoffman), who was instutionalized when he accidentally almost killed Charlie. In the end, Charlie returns Raymond to the nursing home because he realizes that's what's best for him.
