Both Nanu, the polar bear, and Seela, the walrus, manage to make it to their adulthood, despite the relentless struggle they both most undergo in their respective realities, amidst the progressive and dangerous environmental changes the Polar Arctic Circle is currently undergoing, due to global warming.

Furthermore, the circle of life ensues its continuation: Seela finds herself and apt male walrus to mate with, and Nanu is seen with two newborn cub bears of her own and sheltering herself into the same mountain ice cave she was at the beginning of the film, as a cub, with her mother and brother.

The movie ends with a group of children giving valuable pieces of “green” advice to help stop global warming, as the credits roll.
