Carrie (Sissy Spacek) and her mother (Piper Laurie) kill each other as their house collapses around them. Days later, Sue (Amy Irving) visits Carrie’s grave, and is grabbed by a hand coming out of the ground. She screams, and suddenly wakes up in a hospital bed, still screaming.
