Pooper:
The LA family are actually a family of cannibals that annually hunt “lowlifes” (people they deem undesirable) in order to freeze and eat their victims’ flesh eat year-round. The cannibals get more than they bargained for when they target Savannah’s rural area and the victims successfully fight back. Ultimately, everyone is killed but Savannah and Amy. As Savannah prepares to kill Amy, Savannah is shot dead by police officers that arrive on the scene and mistake Savannah as the killer. Amy gets away with her family’s murders.

Long Ending:
An LA-based family, consisting of dad Keith (Matthew MacCaull), mom Kathleen (Elyse Levesque), daughter Amy (Amanda Fix), and son Jeffrey (Josh Zaharia) are on an annual family RV trip. Amy is unhappy to be on the trip and spends most of the time talking to her secret girlfriend (kept secret as Keith disapproves of homosexuality). As the family grills lunch in a rural area, they are approached by two country folk – Vern and Billy. The LA family, rich and well-educated, is clearly uncomfortable around them. Vern asks if they’ve seen a third friend of theirs named Melior. The family responds that they haven’t, and Jeffrey gives Vern a chocolate bar that Vern eats before the pair leaves to continue looking for Melior.

After the family resume their roadtrip, they see Vern and Billy’s truck broken down on the side of the road. Over Kathleen’s protests, Keith pulls over and offers to help. The family agrees to drive Billy about 10 miles to his secluded family home where he can get another car and come back to get Vern. On the journey, Jeffrey plays Mad Libs with Billy. As Billy flips through the Mad Libs pad, he recognizes Melior’s handwriting on one of the puzzles. As Billy expresses confusion about how Melior came to write in this pad, Jeffrey gets up and stabs Billy to death. The LA family then carve Billy up and eat him. It turns out that they are cannibals who travel around the country every summer to hunt “lowlifes” – i.e., people with no families or futures. They then store the human meat in a freezer to eat throughout the year. Noting that Billy’s family home is nearby and isolated, the family decide to hunt them.

Upon arrival, the LA family pretends their RV broke down and that they need a place to spend the night before finding a mechanic in the morning. Billy’s family welcomes them into their home. They consist of Billy’s Great Uncle, his cousins Savannah (Brenna Llewellyn) and Juli Ann (Cassandra Sawtell), and Juli Ann’s massive boyfriend Big Mac. Cutting back to Vern, we learn that Jeffrey poisons the chocolate bars he gives out to people (causing them to vomit and defecate uncontrollably), using it to weaken the victims and make them easier to kill. Jeffrey gives chocolate bars to Big Mac and Juli Ann.

Meanwhile, Kathleen and Amy are amazed when Savannah plays the piano at a high level and otherwise seems like she’d excel if she went to college. They propose leaving the family alone, saying that the family are clearly not lowlifes. Keith tells his wife and daughter that they are acting weak and that this family is worthless and will not be spared.

That night, Amy (who realizes Savannah is gay) sleeps in Savannah’s room to distract her. Meanwhile, the other family members kill Big Mac and the Great Uncle. Amy readies herself to kill Savannah as they make out, but slips out of the bed and accidentally stabs herself. Savannah leaves to get some medical supplies (after Amy claims she only had the knife for self-defense) and overhears Keith and Kathleen discussing their murders. She then finds the corpses of their victims in the RV. Savannah calls the rural police and leaves a message asking for help. Juli Ann also realizes the LA family are killers when she finds an eyeball of one of their victims in the bathroom (it fell out of Amy’s pocket while she was in there). Savannah uses her bow and arrow to kill Kathleen and knock out Jeffrey. But Keith captures and tortures Juli Ann until Savannah agrees to surrender.

Driven more insane by Kathleen’s death, Keith psychologically tortures his two captives. Savannah manages to distract the family by revealing to Keith that Amy is gay. As father and daughter argue, Savannah breaks out of her bonds and attacks and kills Jeffrey. At the same time, Vern shows up (having walked back to the house) and attacks Keith. Though Keith kills Vern, he is seriously wounded in the skirmish. This allows Juli Ann (who also escaped her bonds during the pandemonium) to kill him. Juli Ann then embraces Savannah, only for Juli Ann to be stabbed to death by Amy. Savannah and Amy then fight, with Savannah gaining the upper hand. Just as Savannah is about to deliver a fatal blow, a police officer arrives and shoots Savannah dead (and Amy then kills the officer after he reports to the police station that Billy’s family committed all the murders). Amy sets the entire home on fire (with all the bodies incinerated inside) and drives her family’s RV to freedom.

Order of Deaths:

• Fleeing Man – To begin the movie, a man flees from an unidentified killer (one of the cannibal family members) through the woods. A trap slices open his Achilles tendon. The unidentified killer catches up and slits his throat. The man’s head is later seen in the cannibal family’s freezer.
• Melior – Killed off-screen by the cannibal family.
• Billy – After realizing the family has interacted with Melior, Jeffrey stabs him with two knives in the neck.
• Big Mac – After being poisoned by Jeffrey’s chocolate bar, Jeffrey attacks Big Mac while he is vomiting and defecating outside. Jeffrey uses his speed to slash Big Mac all over his huge body, but Big Mac is able to get a few big blows in. Jeffrey is eventually disarmed. But Big Mac can’t finish him off due to the poison. Jeffrey recovers and then garrottes him.
• Great Uncle – He is killed in his sleep when Keith buries an axe in his face.
• Kathleen – Just as Kathleen is about to slaughter Juli Ann, Savannah shoots an arrow through Kathleen’s neck.
• Vern – While fighting with Keith, Keith stabs Vern in the head with a knife.
• Jeffrey – While fighting with Savannah, she manages to burn his hand on a stove and scald him with boiling water. Savannah then crushes his throat with a cooking implement.
• Keith – He is stabbed by Savannah, and then Vern shoots him and pokes out one of his eyes during a fight. As Keith lies down exhausted after killing Vern, Juli Ann bashes his head in with a mallet.
• Juli Ann – Keith cuts off and eats her thumb. Later, Amy sneaks up on Juli Ann and stabs her in the back.
• Savannah – As Savannah chases Amy with a mallet, a police officer shows up and, mistaking her for the killer, shoots Savannah in the head.
• Police Officer – Amy sneaks up behind him as he investigates the RV and stabs him to death.
