Attraction(2017)

Julia (Irina Starshenbaum) and the alien Hakon (Rinal Mukhametov), inexplicably fall in love. They try to return Hakon to his sentient ship (Saul) but her boyfriend Tyoma (Alexander Petrov) incites the locals to attack the ship and the aliens defend it, with Julia’s father Colonel Lebedev (Oleg Menshikov) trying to maintain order. Tyoma shoots Julia and Hakon. The aliens bring them on board the ship and put them in pods. Saul tells the Colonel that Hakon gave his life to save Julia’s…a significant act because the aliens are immortal.

The Colonel learns from Saul that the aliens never meant to contact Earth because of its violence, predicting the human race will be extinct within six hundred years. Humanity’s only hope is the force that made Hakon die for Julia, Saul says, meaning love. The Colonel takes the fully healed Julia away and Saul leaves Earth, never to return.
