Dogma

The comatose homeless man was God all along. Bethany (Linda Fiorentino) “rescues” God by going into the hospital room and pulling the plug, but is killed in the process. God returns (in the body of Alanis Morissette!) and restores her to life — impregnating her at the same time so that she will bear the next messiah.
