The Beat that Skipped My Heart()

Tom fails his audition and goes to see his father, whom he finds murdered by the Russian businessman Tom had harassed earlier. Two years later, Tom has left the “real estate” business and is managing the successful career of his former teacher with whom he may have a romantic relationship. He happens upon the Russian businessman and beats him severely but chooses not to kill him. The film ends with Tom, bloodied, listening to his teach give a concert.
