Colonel Forsyth (Ray Baker) is the bomber – this is the reason he was able to defuse the bomb in the hospital.
John Pierce (Sam Elliott) and Sgt. Kathleen Hardy (Anne Ramsay) are able to defuse his last bomb.
Forsyth then kills himself with explosives.
