Das Boot
The U-96 and crew make it through several close calls, and finally return safely to port. Moments after the U-Boat is moored at the dock, it is destroyed in an American air raid. The Captain (Jürgen Prochnow) watches it sink beneath the water’s surface, then dies of his injuries.
