Charles (Clive Owen) is being ‘stung’ into embezzling from his employer, and Lucinda (Jennifer Aniston) is part of the con. He manages to turn the tables on Lucinda and Laroche (Vincent Cassell) and get the money back, but he must still make restitution on the embezzled money.
