Gracie (Juliette Lewis) accidentally kills the landlord, Stanley (Garry Shandling), but that’s OK, because Stanley turns out to be the Seaside Strangler!

Gracie wins the $250,000 award for catching the Strangler, and she gives $5,000 to Phillip (Steve Martin) so he can save his suicide-prevention hotline.

All the surviving characters pair up and live happily ever after.
