SHORT VERSION:
Holly and Nick are the only ones who escape Hull House at dawn with their lives, and Holly forces Angela over the underground stream at the front gates in the midst of the escape, causing Angela to dissolve into a gory pile of flesh and bone on the ground before it all smolders away and leaves only a silhouette behind.

Holly and Nick, on the former’s insistence, then wait until the sun has fully risen before Holly closes the front gates and then barricades them with a cross she makes out of sticks. She soon tells Nick that they can’t erase the fact that seven people died here tonight, and that is why she plans to come back here next Halloween, as well as every Halloween after that until she dies: To make sure that nobody ever steps inside this unholy place and suffers the same fate. As they take their leave, the windows around the front door suddenly light up, and we hear the voice of Angela laughing and saying “Happy Halloween!”

LONG VERSION:
Lieutenant Dewhurst (Vlasta Vrána) finds Holly (Stephanie Bauder) and Nick (Gregory Calpakis) at Hull House after they have just fended off an attack from the possessed Orson (Christian Tessier). He tells them that he is here to protect them, but then after taking their shotgun, he handcuffs them together and leads them out to his car. As this happens, Vince (Kris Holdenreid) comes out holding Angela (Amelia Kinkade) hostage with the revolver Orson stole from one of the cops back at the convenience store and orders Dewhurst to drop the shotgun, which he only does after Angela begs him to. Vince tells Dewhurst that he is taking his car and he and the other teens are leaving, and Holly informs Nick that Angela is one of the demons, and he in turn tells Vince to get away from Angela. Dewhurst enlightens Vince to the fact that the cop he had shot at the store was wearing a flak vest and was fine, but Angela manages to convince Vince that he is lying and will get his head blown off the second he drops his weapon. Vince promptly starts shooting, but Dewhurst returns fire and kills him. Dewhurst asks for Angela to come over to him, but knowing that Dewhurst would never believe their story about the demons without proof, Nick takes the shotgun and shoots Angela, making her expose her true demon form.

Holly, Nick, and Dewhurst try to escape, but they are soon surrounded by the possessed teenagers as well as the possessed Officer Larry (Larry Day), Angela’s first victim. After shooting them quickly proves to be an exercise in futility, Angela halts her new demonic brethren and tells Dewhurst and Nick that she wants Holly’s soul, since it possesses great power due to being fresh and virginal. She tells Holly that, if she gives up her soul to her, she will let Nick and Dewhurst go free. Holly accepts, and after severing the chain on the cuffs, Angela takes her towards the house while also telling her “children” to come to the bowels of Hell with her, for morning is drawing near. Dewhurst and Nick watch as they – including a resurrected Vince – start making their way inside and into Hell, and Nick tells Dewhurst that they need to create a diversion to save Holly. Come time for Holly’s turn to enter, Dewhurst distracts Angela with a magic trick that results in him stabbing her with Nick’s switchblade, and after he gets Holly out of the way, Nick rams Angela against a tree a few times with Dewhurst’s car. Angela soon vanishes back inside the house.

With the car now rendered inoperable from the attack, Dewhurst, Holly, and Nick make for the front gates on foot. As they go, Dewhurst tells the teens that the store’s surveillance camera did not record either of them, so they can just go on home and not worry about the incident any further. Suddenly, the lights inside Hull House turn on, and Angela reappears and kills Dewhurst. As the sun is rising, Nick grabs Holly and runs straight for the gates and the underground stream below, but just before Holly can cross it with him, Angela grabs her arm. Nick manages to pull Holly across the barrier and she in turn pulls Angela over it, and Angela soon dissolves into a gory pile of flesh and bone on the ground before it all smolders away and leaves only a silhouette behind. The lights in Hull House then go out again.

Nick tells Holly that they must leave, but Holly refuses for the moment. They then sit and wait until the sun has fully risen before Holly closes the gates and then barricades them with a cross she makes out of sticks. She soon tells Nick that they can’t erase the fact that seven people died here tonight, and that is why she plans to come back here next Halloween, as well as every Halloween after that until she dies: To make sure that nobody ever steps inside this unholy place and suffers the same fate. As they walk away, the windows around the front door suddenly light up once more, and we hear the voice of Angela laughing and saying “Happy Halloween!”
