Small Soldiers(1998)

The X-1000 chips can only be deactivated by electro-magnetic pulse. Alan (Gregory Smith) manages to create one, destroying all the Commando Elite toys. The next morning, Gil Mars (Denis Leary) arrives and pays off everybody to keep quiet about his company’s “mistake,” and paying for the damage to the properties, etc. Gil also figures that, for some extra cost, the war toys can be sold to refugees in third world countries. While cleaning up the rubble, Alan finds out that the Gorgonites were protected by a satellite dish, and he sends them off on their mission to find their home of Gorgon.
