Buckaroo (Peter Weller) destroys the Red Lectroid thermopod, killing the Lectroids and Dr. Emilio Lizardo (John Lithgow), and denying their escape to the Eighth Dimension. The threat of interdimensional disaster thus averted, the Black Lectroids leave the earth in peace.
