K-19: The Widowmaker(2002)

Alexei Vostrikov (Harrison Ford) orders his men to request help from the Americans, when Mikhail Polenin (Liam Neeson) informs him that a Russian submarine has spotted them. High command denies Vosktrikov’s request to abandon ship. Vostrikov disobeys, and when he boards the other Russian sub, is told that he is being charged as a traitor.
Polenin defends him in court, and Vostrikov is acquitted, but can never pilot another sub.
The 7 men who entered the nuclear chamber die after reaching home. The survivors are sworn to secrecy until the fall of the USSR, when they can finally mourn their fallen comrades and tell their story.
