Mallory (Kristen Stewart) gets in a fight with Lois and Doug (Melissa Leo and James Gandolfini) and runs away from them. Doug and Lois realize they can’t save her, or act as her parents. They go back to Indianapolis.

Two weeks later, Mallory calls Doug to let him know that she misses him, and that she is going to Vegas. She appears cleaned up. Doug assures her that he and Lois will always be there to help her if she needs it.
