POOPER: Thanks Justin K!
Frank (Tim Curry) is shot and killed by Riff-Raff (Richard O’ Brian) with a laser of pure anti-matter. Rocky (Peter Hinwood) picks up Frank and climbs up the radio antenna in the back of the stage. It collapses and Rocky is killed by falling into the pool. Then Brad (Barry Bostwick), Janet (Susan Sarandon) and Dr. Scott (Jonathan Adams) all flee the house, as it takes off for Transsexual, Transylvania.
LONG VERSION:
On a rainy November evening, newly engaged couple Brad Majors (Barry Bostwick) and Janet Weiss (Susan Sarandon) leave a friend’s wedding. Their car breaks down near a dark, foreboding castle. Seeking a telephone, they enter during a party celebrating the annual Transylvanian Convention. They are greeted by a hunchbacked servant, Riff Raff (Richard O’Brien), and introduced to the bizarre inhabitants, including a groupie named Columbia (Little Nell) and a creepy butler, Magenta (Patricia Quinn).
The master of the house is the flamboyant Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a self-proclaimed “sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania.” He reveals his latest creation: a perfectly formed, muscular man named Rocky (Peter Hinwood), brought to life in his laboratory. Frank-N-Furter seduces both the naive Brad and Janet separately. He also unveils his former lover, Eddie (Meat Loaf), a delivery boy who is now partially used as Rocky’s donor material. Eddie is killed by Frank-N-Furter with a pickaxe.
The castle’s activities are observed by a criminologist (Charles Gray) who serves as the film’s narrator, framing the story as his investigation. The plot intensifies with the arrival of Dr. Everett Scott (Jonathan Adams), Brad and Janet’s former science tutor. He is searching for his nephew, Eddie. Riff Raff and Magenta are revealed to be aliens from the planet Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania. They disapprove of Frank-N-Furter’s decadent lifestyle and creations on Earth.
Frank-N-Furter forces everyone into the lab, where he demonstrates his creation, Rocky, and then unveils the guests he has been spying on, including Brad and Janet in compromising positions. He commands everyone to participate in a floor show. The celebration is short-lived. Riff Raff and Magenta revolt, declaring they are returning to their home planet. They fatally shoot Frank-N-Furter, Columbia, and Rocky with laser guns from the RKO Tower. Riff Raff announces that the castle is leaving Earth.
Brad, Janet, and Dr. Scott are left behind in the now-lifeless castle as Riff Raff and Magenta depart in the castle, which is revealed to be a spaceship. The three survivors are left sitting at the table, traumatized and wrapped in each other’s arms. Frank-N-Furter’s final appearance is as a projected bust on the wall, leading the entire cast in a reprise of “Science Fiction/Double Feature” as the credits roll.
