Of the three daughters, only Julie (Kathryn Newton) loses her virginity on prom night.

Lisa (Leslie Mann) doesn’t stop Julie from having sex after seeing how happy she is with her boyfriend, while Kayla (Geraldine Viswanathan) decides not to sleep with her boyfriend, even before she is interrupted by her father Mitchell (John Cena).

Sam (Gideon Adlon) comes out as a lesbian to her friends and her father, Hunter (Ike Barinholtz).

Three months later, the girls drive off to UCLA, where Julie is going to college and the parents see their text chat bragging about doing drugs, only to find out that the girls are joking.
