SHORT VERSION:
The Laguna Beach B team – Jordan, Taz, Mo, Larry, and Chika – beats Tyler and his Laguna Beach A team in the finals of the International High School Surfing Championships, with Larry defeating Tyler in the deciding match.

Afterward, Jordan and Doris officially become a couple, and Larry celebrates his victory with a marathon sex session with the Swedish beauties Helga, Belga, and Selga (who gave him the confidence he needed to win by pointing out, in a long discussion they had, that he is already a man by virtue of what he has accomplished in life and how strong his character is). As Taz remarks to Rip and the others that this trip has made him feel like a new man, the Ghost Babe – a beautiful woman who appears before surfing champions but leads them to ruin with her sexual charms, as Rip found out the hard way – appears out of nowhere. Despite Rip restating his warnings about her, Taz takes off down the beach with her. Rip then speaks to Jordan alone and thanks him for pulling him out of his rut by giving him the chance to coach him and his friends, but immediately after he says this, he goes chasing after the Ghost Babe again (he doesn’t get her, though; he is last seen asleep on his mattress on the beach and dreaming about her).

Just before Jordan, Doris, Mo, Larry, and Chika leave Boris’ and Tillie’s commune a couple of days later to return to the U.S., Boris and Tillie thank them for the whole experience and for restoring their faith in America’s youth before inviting them to visit them again real soon. Taz stays behind with the Ghost Babe, and he is last shown getting his toenails painted by her, still waiting to have sex with her.

LONG VERSION:
After the Laguna Beach B team – Jordan (Corey Sevier), Taz (Miko Hughes), Mo (Sisqó), and Larry (Lee Norris) – have a bad first day at the International High School Surfing Championships, Boris (Taylor Negron) remarks to Tillie (Diane Delano) in front of Doris (Laura Bell Bundy) that all of them are going to need some motivation if they hope to achieve victory tomorrow. Doris – who has been gradually becoming more sociable the more she hangs around the guys, Boris, and Tillie – thus decides to completely get rid of both her Goth appearance and her vow of silence, and she takes on a more outgoing personality and starts wearing colorful clothes. She approaches the guys with her new look while they are moping and drinking with Rip (Harland Williams) at the El Pescado Muerto bar, and after they get over the shock of her altered appearance, Jordan asks her what happened, and she replies that THEY happened. She then tells them that she figured that they needed a little pick-me-up for tomorrow, so she has come here to sing (she briefly displayed her beautiful singing voice to them a couple of days earlier as her first act of being more sociable), and she tells Mo that they need to rehearse right now.

Later on, after Jordan watches Doris sing a duet with Mo that gets well-received by the patrons, he gets to chatting with her. She admits to him that she had pigeonholed him as just another stupid and shallow jock when they first met, but after he had pleasantly talked to her and praised her singing voice a couple of days ago, she realized how stupid and shallow that SHE was being, and they soon share a kiss. Meanwhile, the Swedish beauties Helga (Annika Svedman), Belga (Aubrey Lemon), and Selga (Rikke Juhll Moegelhoej) take Larry away to their room at Boris’ and Tillie’s commune. Though they don’t have sex, they have a long conversation with him where they help him understand that men don’t need to have sex to become men; men become men by how good their hearts are. Based on his accomplishments in life and the strength of his character, he has proven that he has a good heart and is, thus, already a man.

On the second day of the competition, the Laguna Beach B team – minus Larry – performs better than all of the others, including the Laguna Beach A team captained by Jordan’s enemy Tyler (Ryan Carnes) (thanks in part to Doris flirting with Tyler’s teammate Roach [Cam Powell] in order to throw him off his game). Come time for Mo to surf; he tells them that he will cost them their chances of winning since he has shown that he isn’t that great a surfer, but then Chika (Eriko Tamura) – the Japanese exchange student who hangs out with Mo in Laguna Beach but was denied permission to go on the trip by her host family – suddenly appears and explains in broken English that she has come here to help, and she can do so because she is the best female surfer in Japan. The guys thus have Mo fake an injury so she can substitute for him, and she keeps the momentum going for the team.

Both Laguna Beach teams make it to the finals, and Jordan is matched against Tyler for the decisive victory. However, before Jordan can get into the water, Larry appears with the Swedish ladies and notifies Jordan and their teammates that he is still on the roster. He explains how the Swedes have helped him gain real confidence in himself by reminding him of the good qualities that he already had, and now he feels like that he is “the man” and wants an opportunity to show this to everyone. Impressed with his new attitude, Jordan decides to let him surf in his place. Before Tyler takes his turn first, Larry plays some effective mind games on him that shakes his confidence, and he ends up playing it very safe on the waves and earns some unsatisfactory scores. Larry, however, rides the waves beautifully, and he and his team become the new champions. When Larry meets Tyler on the shore afterward, the latter pays the former a brief compliment on his performance. Tyler’s conceited sister Megan (Ellen Hollman) then tries to kiss Jordan, since she has an (unrequited) attraction to him, but Jordan moves her aside so he can have a passionate kiss with Doris. Taz then steps up to Megan and starts kissing her wildly, and she finds that she likes it very much.

Later on, as the Laguna Beach B team is standing around on the beach with Rip, Larry heads off with Helga, Belga, and Selga to have a marathon sex session with them to celebrate his victory. As Taz remarks to the others that this trip has made him feel like a new man, the Ghost Babe (Allison Shultz) – a beautiful woman who appears before surfing champions but leads them to ruin with her sexual charms, as Rip found out the hard way – appears out of nowhere. Despite Rip restating his warnings about her, Taz takes off down the beach with her. Rip then speaks to Jordan alone and thanks him for pulling him out of his rut by giving him a chance to coach him and his friends, but immediately after he says this, he goes chasing after the Ghost Babe again (he doesn’t get her, though; he is last seen asleep on his mattress on the beach and dreaming about her).

Just before Jordan, Doris, Mo, Larry, and Chika leave the commune a couple of days later to return to the U.S., Boris and Tillie thank them for the whole experience and for restoring their faith in America’s youth before inviting them to visit them again real soon. Jordan then asks them to come to visit him and the others in Laguna Beach sometime, but they inform him that that will not be possible due to a few outstanding warrants waiting for them in the U.S. that they acquired during their younger days. The quintet then takes their leave, but Taz stays behind with the Ghost Babe, and he is last shown getting his toenails painted by her, still waiting to have sex with her.
