The mission is successful, but eleven of the convicts are killed. When Major Reisman (Lee Marvin) and Sergeant Bowren (Richard Jaeckel) return to Allied territory, Wladislaw (Charles Bronson) is the only surviving member of the Dirty Dozen with them. He’s given a pardon for his crimes by General Worden (Ernest Borgnine).
