It’s a Wonderful Life

George (James Stewart) decides he wants to live, and returns home, where life has returned to pre-wish status. Upon arriving, he discovers that the people of Bedford Falls have heard about his trouble, and have turned out in droves to give him enough money to cover the $8,000 shortfall.
And Clarence gets his wings.
