Mr. Turner(2014)

Mr. Turner” summarizes the life of the famous painter, J. M. W. Turner, exploring how the common folk initially adored him, but then mocked him when his work began to move into preimpressionism.
He has a somewhat romantic relationship with his housekeeper, an estranged relationship with his daughters and their (alleged) mother, and his healthiest connection with Sophia Booth, who runs a lodge in Margate.
Early on, his father passes away, which is bookended with his own death at the film’s conclusion.
The story also displays Mr. Turner grappling with technology, worrying how the photograph will make painting obsolete.
Additionally, his artwork influences the film’s cinematography, with many shots resembling Romanticism.
