POOPER:
Only Shaun (Simon Pegg) and Liz (Kate Ashfield) survive the zombie siege. They are rescued by Yvonne (Jessica Stevenson), who alerts the military to their situation. As the film closes, we see that the zombies have been controlled and placed in menial jobs. Shaun keeps his former-best-friend-but-now-a-zombie Ed (Nick Frost) chained up in the shed for gaming sessions on the PlayStation 2.

Mike T adds that “According to DVD extra footage, Dianne (Lucy Davis) also survives the zombie siege. She maintains a Christmas card relationship with Shaun and Liz.”
