Pooper:
Austin and Vanessa stop Dr. Evil from launching a nuclear warhead into the Earth’s core (and thus destroying the Earth). Dr. Evil and his cat, Mr. Bigglesworth, escape in a spaceship while vowing revenge. Austin and Vanessa get married with Austin having proven himself to be capable of commitment by resisting the temptation of Dr. Evil’s killer Fembots.

Long Ending:
This spoof/parody of spy films (mainly of James Bond) opens in the 1960s. Austin Powers (Mike Myers) is one of Britain’s most popular secret agents. He wears gaudy clothes, has awful teeth, drives a slick car decorated like the Union Jack, and is a renowned ladies’ man that sleeps with a different woman every night. Despite his free-spirited ways, Austin has a genuine love for a colleague named Kensington (Mimi Rodgers), but she is happily married. Meanwhile, Austin’s arch-nemesis Dr. Evil (also Mike Myers) decides that he’ll have better luck dominating the world in the future once Austin Powers is dead. So he and his cat Mr. Bigglesworth enter a spacecraft that is meant to freeze them for 30 years and takes off into space (the device is faulty and only partially freezes them). Learning of Dr. Evil’s plans, Austin agrees to let his spy agency – run by commander Basil Exposition (Michael York) – freeze him as well.

Dr. Evil does indeed return in the 1990s and is retrieved by what is left of his evil cabal – his right-hand man Number Two (Robert Wagner), henchwoman Frau Farbissina (Mindy Sterling), and engineer Mustafa (Will Ferrell). Dr. Evil immediately kills off Mustafa for building the faulty freezing device, which caused Mr. Bigglesworth to go bald. The remaining duo then inform Dr. Evil that, fearing he’d died in space, they used some of his frozen sperm to produce a son. They introduce him to his now-teenaged son – Scott Evil (Seth Green). However, Scott is moody rather than evil, and quickly irritates Dr. Evil (who has to constantly fight off his urge to kill Scott). Number Two reveals that the shell companies they started in the 1960s to launder money have been legitimized under his watch while Dr. Evil was away and they are now worth billions. Dr. Evil has no interest in the money or legitimacy and instead asks about how the evil plans he left have developed. Frau and Number Two say that they have successfully developed them. Dr. Evil then calls the United Nations and reveals his evil plans – using the world’s largest drill, Dr. Evil will drill into the Earth’s core and detonate a nuke therein, thus destroying the Earth. To avoid this, Dr. Evil demands the UN pay him… $1 Million. After the UN members laugh at this ludicrously low sum (which seemed astronomical in the 1960s), Dr. Evil adjusts his demands to $100 Billion. He also begins going to group therapy with Scott in hopes of the pair growing closer.

Basil learns of Dr. Evil’s return and they defrost Austin. After he takes a minutes-long pee built up during his time on ice, Austin is recommissioned and paired with Vanessa (Elizabeth Hurley), who is Kensington’s daughter and working to become a secret agent. Austin quickly falls for her, but she is largely turned off by his 1960s era chauvinism. As they go undercover as a married couple to locate Dr. Evil’s lair, Austin slowly begins winning Vanessa over with his charm. Meanwhile, he begins learning how the world has changed and moderates his own behavior. After Austin sleeps with one of Number Two’s henchwomen to get information, Vanessa says that she needs real commitment from Austin if he wants to be with her.

The pair eventually find Dr. Evil’s lair but are taken prisoner. Dr. Evil puts them in a death trap (being lowered slowly into a death tank of mutant bass with laser beams attached to them) and ignores Scott’s advice to just kill them quickly with a gun. Austin and Vanessa easily escape as Dr. Evil activates the drill. Austin goes to stop the drill while Vanessa goes to radio for backup. As Austin fights his way to the command center, he encounters “Fembots.” These robots are built to look like sexy women, whose sole purpose is to seduce and kill their prey. Thinking of Vanessa, Austin resists their charms and instead causes them to literally explode with lust by doing a “sexy” dance and bearing his very hairy chest to them. Vanessa witnesses the aftermath and is impressed Austin didn’t sleep with the Fembots.

Dr. Evil manages to hold Vanessa at gunpoint and Austin does the same with Scott. Dr. Evil cavalierly tells Austin to kill Scott, saying that Scott isn’t evil enough for him and that he killed the rest of the people in the group therapy. Number Two then comes in and holds Dr. Evil at gunpoint (as Scott runs away crying), saying that he’d rather take over and just run the legitimate companies. Dr. Evil tricks Number Two into falling through a trap door into a fiery pit while Vanessa escapes. No longer restrained, Austin aborts the nuclear launch and saves the day as Dr. Evil activates the self destruct sequence for his lair. Dr. Evil and Mr. Bigglesworth again launch into space as Vanessa, Austin, and the other agents successfully flee the lair before it explodes. Vanessa is made a secret agent for helping to bring down Dr. Evil.

The film ends with Austin and Vanessa married, cavorting around naked, and defeating one of Dr. Evil’s remaining henchmen (using Austin’s penis pump). In addition to being spies, they are now respectively a fashion photographer and model. Meanwhile, a near-frozen Dr. Evil (and his cat) vow to return someday and enact revenge.
