Casablanca

Rick (Humphrey Bogart) shoots and kills kills Major Strasser (Conrad Veitdt). He tells Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman) that defeating the Nazis is the most important thing in the world right now, and that in spite of the love they share, she needs to stay with and inspire her husband Victor Lazlo (Paul Henreid). Rick puts her on the plane to Lisbon (and from there, to the US). Rick and Capt. Renault (Claude Rains) realize that they’ll have to go into hiding, and discuss heading for the Free French garrison at Brazzaville.
