I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025)(2025)

Five friends – Ava, Danica, Milo, Teddy, and Stevie – are involved in a tragic accident when a pick-up truck driver swerves off road to his death due to them goofing off. They call the police but flee the scene and swear to never tell anybody. One year later, Danica (Madelyn Cline) receives a message saying, “I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER”. Her fiancée Wyatt is the first victim of “The Fisherman”, followed by a young woman named Tyler, whom Ava (Chase Sui Wonders) initially suspected due to Tyler’s obsession with the original 1997 Southport massacre.

Ava gets help from former Southport survivor Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt), along with her ex-husband Ray Bronson (Freddie Prinze Jr.), who is Stevie’s boss. The friends investigate who is targeting them, leading them to suspect local pastor Judah Gillespie, since he knew Sam, the crash victim. When Danica and Teddy (Tyriq Withers) go to find clues from the cemetery, a groundskeeper is killed trying to view security footage of who visited Sam’s grave.

The Fisherman kills Milo (Jonah Hauer-King), and later murders Teddy and his father Grant, leaving their bodies hanging in public, and Milo’s in his car. Stevie prepares to lead Danica and Ava out of Southport on a boat, just as police go to arrest Judah and find that he was already murdered. Stevie (Sarah Pidgeon) is revealed to be The Fisherman, as she was romantically involved with Sam and was bitter towards her old friends for believing that they abandoned her. She prepares to kill Danica and Ava, but Ray shows up. Stevie stabs Danica and throws her overboard, and Ray shoots Stevie into the water.

Julie quickly figures out that Stevie was working with Ray, whose trauma over the original massacre drove him insane. Before he can kill Ava and Julie, Ava impales Ray with a harpoon gun. Danica also ends up surviving and reuniting with Ava, but they find out that Stevie is still alive.

Julie goes to the home of another survivor, Karla Wilson, since Julie knows Stevie, or another Fisherman, is targeting them both.
