Before the night is out, only Richard Spader (James Purefoy), Dr. Kirsty McCloud (Rachel Shelley) and Prison Officer Ian Goslet (Don Warrington) are still alive.

With one last surviving lighthouse keeper is barbecued in a firebombing ambush (to unsuccsessfully trap Leo Rook) which only leads to more deaths.

Ian manages to electrocute Leo Rook (Christopher Adamson) before sucumbing to having a machete in his gut.

Badly injured, Leo is finally finished off by being shot in the mouth with a flare setting him ablaze. Dying, he plunges as a living fireball onto the rocks below.
